School of Coastal Resilience

The research and teaching interests of the School of Coastal Resilience focuses on matters impacting human well-being and ecosystem vitality in coastal regions. More than 3.4 billion people, close to 44% of the world’s population, live within one hundred miles of a coast. Every facet of their lives, be it economic, political, social, cultural, and beyond, is impacted by coastal climates, weather events, environments, and ecologies. Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Coastal Operations supports these endeavors through our academic curriculum supporting a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree. School of Leadership

School of Ocean Science and Engineering

The School of Ocean Science and Engineering harnesses elements from key areas of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Coastal Operations, including the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory, the John C. Stennis Space Center, and the Gulf Park campus. These assets support the growth of our students and their future jobs in the blue economy.
