Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is available to all benefit-eligible employees and members of their household. To register online, go to GuidanceResources.com or the app GuidanceNow, and use the Organization Web ID COM589. When it asks for your company name, enter UNIVE (a box should pop up with Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ for you to select). Remember, membership also comes with telephonic access to talk to a counselor, financial advisor, or legal advisor: 800-272-7255.
Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity
The Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity (AA/EEO) is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal laws and regulations related to the equitable treatment of applicants, faculty, staff, and students. This includes the enforcement of Title VI and Title VII, as well as the promotion of equal employment opportunities to guarantee equitable access to the university.
Title IX
Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ complies with applicable state and federal regulations, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), which prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity receiving federal funding. Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ will not tolerate discrimination and sexual harassment and has provided a way to report these incidents through the Title IX Office.
Association of Office Professionals
The Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Association of Office Professionals (AOP) is affiliated with the Mississippi Association of Education Office Professionals (MAEOP) and the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP). We are dedicated to providing opportunities for communication and relationship-building among staff members of the university. AOP also conducts civic engagement projects and outreach to support our larger community.
