- Request a with CCE to find opportunities and/or information best suited to your specific interests, needs and/or schedule.
- Want to volunteer but don't have a car? There are a few options on campus to serve (email cceFREEMississippi for info) but you can also take the Hub City Transit Blue Route to several locations! See our map for bus stops and schedules.
Service Hour Tracking & Reporting
- All Southern Miss students have a profile at (the Get Connected platform). Just click the orange Student Login button and to sign up directly for volunteer opportunities and track your service activities so you have a record for your resume.
- Check out to watch a step-by-step on how to report your hours. Students who earn 100 service hours by graduation should apply for Citizen Scholars!
- To track group (student organization, eg) service hours, Watch to see how to report hours on behalf of group members.
- Volunteer Service Log - if you need proof of service.
- CCE only approves service hours that adhere to certain guidelines.
Recruit Volunteers
- If you are a 501c3 and want to advertise your opportunity to Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ and community volunteers, you should create an agency profile and post volunteer opportunities on - this information will be visible to both Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ and the general community. Step-by-step instructions are available on how to post volunteer opportunities.
- If you are not a 501c3 or want to only publicize to Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ students (not community members), you will use called Volunteer Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ. You can request that CCE staff create profiles, update information, and post opportunities for you by submitting this form:
