Each fall, the spirit and excitement of Homecoming Week festivities has been an anticipated tradition at Southern Miss. Festivities begin as early as Monday and continue through Sunday evening, and all areas of campus get involved.

Description: Find Waldos across campus and take a photo with them! Submit through Photo Circle between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. for team points.

Place: Shoemaker Square
Description: Each team can send two brave participants to take the plunge. Make sure to arrive at the SGA office by 11:30 AM to sign up and get all the details. While sitting in the fountain, you'll take on exciting tasks, answer trivia, and compete in games created by the Homecoming committee. The top three who stick it out the longest will score big points for their team, and the winner? They’ll earn eternal bragging rights! This is going to be legendary!

Description: Lawn displays are a time-honored tradition, bursting with spirit on college campuses nationwide! Teams will create stunning art by rolling tissue paper into tiny “pomped” pieces, carefully attaching them to posters or wire structures to form incredible images. These displays will scream school pride and bring the 2024 Homecoming theme, “We Built this City on Black & Gold,” to life.

Description: Friday Night @ Spirit Park Homecoming Edition will provide a chance for all those on campus and in the city to experience a performance from The Pride of Mississippi, the Southern Misses, the Dixie Darlings, and some live music! There will be several food vendors and sources of entertainment for all those attending! We also encourage students and community members to set up their tents and drop their tailgate supplies in Spirit Park to best prepare for any Homecoming Day tailgating!

Description: Don’t miss the *pomp* and *circumstance* as the Southern Miss community parades its way into Homecoming 2024! We're rolling out the red carpet (and the floats!) to welcome home our amazing alumni and celebrate the 2024 Homecoming Court! The route will kick off on Ross Blvd, make its way down Hardy Street, turn at the campus entrance, and cruise down Southern Miss Drive towards Eagle Walk. Get ready to *march* into the fun—this parade is going to be *un-float-gettable*!

And it doesn’t stop there—Homecoming is the time we roll out the welcome mat for our incredible alumni and cheer on the return of the legendary Dixie Darling alumnae on the field!
