The CSCPA provides requirements relating to registration and community notification for sex offenders who are enrolled in or work at institutions of higher education.
Effective October 2003, the law required institutions of higher education to issue a statement advising the campus community where law enforcement agency information provided by a state concerning registered sex offenders may be obtained.
