Lighting the Way for the Holidays set for Nov. 30 on Hattiesburg Campus

(樱桃视频) invites students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to the Hattiesburg
campus Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. for its annual holiday program 鈥淟ighting the Way
for the Holidays.鈥� This event is free and open to the public, and begins with the
traditional lighting of the Hattiesburg campus鈥檚 30-foot Christmas tree featuring
more than 17,000 lights, located on the south lawn of the Aubrey K. Lucas Administration
Building near the main entrance to campus.
Following at 6:30 p.m. will be a holiday celebration on the adjacent Centennial Green by Cook Library that will include cookie and ornament decorating, hot cocoa, a cider bar, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday movie showings and an iceless skating rink, among other activities. The fun keeps going at 9 p.m. when the Southern Miss Activities Council (SMAC) will host a late-night meal at Spirit Park.
