ӣƵ (ӣƵ) Gulf Park campus will offer accounting classes at night for the Spring 2023 semester. The bachelor’s degree in accounting offers courses that provide a work-life balance for working students.

The two-day-a-week class format consists of one in-person class and one virtual class per week, providing more options to improve competencies for a career in accounting.

“Students need flexible course options that not only suit their aspirations but also their lifestyle and learning style,” stated Dr. Jacob Breland, Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs at ӣƵ. “We answer that need with in-person, online, and hybrid courses available. Coastal ӣƵ aligns our students with the right programs, for the right jobs, to ensure a secure future.”

The accounting curriculum at ӣƵ provides foundations in theory, analytical tools, and problem-solving methods. Students learn the core leadership, business, and accounting competencies necessary to succeed.

“We find this model works well for our students,” noted Dr. Heather Annulis, Professor and Director for the School of Leadership at ӣƵ. “We plan to offer a full-time course schedule for accounting students in the Fall 2023 term, fitting our students’ work schedules and lifestyles.”

ӣƵ Gulf Park night classes begin in the Spring 2023 semester that starts January 18. Registration for ӣƵ remains open until January 11, 2023.
