Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Graduation Ceremonies set for Dec. 8-9

Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ (Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ) will host fall 2022 commencement exercises
at Bernard Reed Green Coliseum on its Hattiesburg campus Thursday, Dec. 8 and Friday,
Dec. 9. Approximately 1,270 students are candidates for degrees this semester.
The Dec. 8 ceremony, set for 6 p.m., is for students earning graduate degrees; two ceremonies on Dec. 9 will feature a conferment of degrees for undergraduates.
The fall graduation ceremonies will be the first for Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ President Joe Paul as leader of his alma mater. Dr. Paul was named permanent Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ president in October after serving in the role on an interim basis since July.
The commencement schedule is as follows:
*Thursday, Dec. 8, 6 p.m.: Graduate School - All Doctoral, Specialist and Master's Students
*Friday, Dec. 9, 9 a.m.: Undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Nursing
and Health Professions.
*Friday, Dec. 9, 2 p.m.: Undergraduate students in the College of Business and Economic Development and College
of Education and Human Sciences.
