Applied Technology Concentration Electives

Students may upon request substitute concentration electives for the following four required courses in the APT program

路 APT 363
路 HCD 440
路 HCD 465
Substitute courses must be chosen from only one of the five available concentrations. If students have started a concentration and wish to change to a different one, they must take all 12 required credit hours from their new concentration regardless of how many concentration hours they have already completed.

Courses must be taken in sequence because of the prerequisites.
If students have already taken ACC 200 and ACC 220 or their equivalents, they can start with ACC 311 if the grade requirement has been met (see sample sequences below).
ACC 311 and ACC 323 should be taken in the same semester since they are only 1- and 2-credit-hour classes respectively.
Considering ACC 311 and ACC 323, students would take 5 courses for the 12-hour concentration elective requirement.
