Service Description
eduroam
This network is for all Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ faculty, staff, and students. Guests from reciprocating may also access this network for unrestricted Internet access. This network has no connection timeouts and unrestricted bandwidth.
Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Public
This network is for unaffiliated visitors. There are restrictions that limit the bandwidth to 2Mbps, requiring users to acknowledge terms and conditions through a web browser when connecting and comes with a 4-hour session timeout.

How to Activate "eduroam" Wireless Network
Faculty, staff, and students can connect devices to the "eduroam" wireless network
by following these simple steps:
- Select the "eduroam" network.
- User name: W+ID#@usm.edu (ex: w123456@usm.edu)

To Request Service
Instructions on how to connect gaming or mobile device to the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ wireless network.
Students with gaming devices - Students will use SOAR to enter devices and the MAC address for each device.
Availability
The Southern Miss network is available 24/7, except for scheduled maintenance periods.
