Bio
Melissa Thompson, Ph.D. is a Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition where she teaches courses in Sport Psychology and Sport Coaching.She is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology as well as a Coach Developer through the International Council of Coaching Excellence. Her primary area of research interest is coach development with specific emphasis on the internship process and the development of coaching ethics.
