Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarship for full time students in the School of Construction who are residents of Mississippi and who have passed a minimum of 30 hours. Recommendation is by the Director.
Scholarship for students majoring in Construction Engineering Mississippi Technology. Students are selected by ABC Member Contractors in cooperation with the coordinator of the Construction Engineering Technology Program.
Scholarship for students in a major in the School of Construction. Preference given to a student from Birmingham, Alabama, then to students from Jefferson County, Alabama, and third to students from the State of Alabama.
Scholarship for undergraduate students in the School of Construction with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum 20 ACT score. The student must be a native Mississippian who demonstrates financial need or to other qualified student.
Scholarship to students with financial need majoring in Construction Engineering Technology
Scholarship to a student majoring in Architectural Engineering Technology.
Scholarship for sophomore, junior or senior students majoring in Architectural Engineering Technology. The student must have a 2.5 GPA.
Scholarship to junior or senior students majoring in Design. Recipients are selected by the School of Construction.
Scholarship to full-time students enrolled in the School of Construction with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Also, the Fountain Family recipient shall have a financial need. Preference will be given to Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Construction athletes or other qualified student.
Scholarship to full-time students with financial need who are enrolled in the School of Construction with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or other qualified students.
Scholarships to undergraduate or graduate African-American students in the School of Construction with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students should demonstrate leadership qualities through involvement 'Within on-campus associations and should work well with others in a team atmosphere. Recipient should exude a congenial and personable disposition. The recipient will be encouraged to intern at Yates Construction Company.
Scholarship to students majoring in Construction with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference shall be given to students who participates in student organizations in the School.
Scholarship to students in Construction Engineering Technology.
Scholarship to students enrolled in the School of Construction with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Scholarship to students majoring in Construction Engineering Technology. The student must have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a minimum 3.0 GP A. Students must be natives of Mississippi or other qualified students.
Scholarship to students majoring in Construction Engineering Technology. Students must have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a minimum 3.0 GPA and maintain a 3.0 GPA in the program. The student must also be a native of Mississippi.
Scholarship to students from Harrison, Hancock or Jackson County enrolled in the School of Construction or other qualified students.
Scholarships to deserving students majoring in Architectural Engineering Technology who are native Mississippians. Preference will be given to students with financial need.
Scholarship to students majoring in Architectural Engineering Technology.
Scholarship to a student who is a U.S. Veteran, including active military personnel and direct dependants of U.S. Veterans, who has a cumulative GPA between 2.0 and 3.25. Preference shall be given to students who are enrolled in Construction Engineering Technology or Special Education. The recipient must have financial need, but must not qualify for grant aid.
Academic scholarships to full-time students who are Mississippi residents classified as juniors with at least a 3.0 grade point average and who have declared majors in areas of study within the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials or in the Industrial Technology Engineering Program at the University. Two scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded annually, as long as the spending allocation is sufficient to provide this level of funding.
Scholarship to a student majoring in Art or Interior Design with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to a female student.
This fund is to be used at the discretion and collaboration of (currently) Joan Traylor, Claire Hamilton, and Troy Andrews (of Haworth, Inc.) for any reason that would create a better educational environment for students as deemed necessary by these individuals. Requests for withdrawals by Joan or Claire must have an accompanying authorization of Troy Andrews (includes written note, fax, e-mail, or phone and noted by the business office).
Scholarship to a junior or senior majoring in Interior Design with a minimum 3.25 GPA.
Scholarship to a deserving junior or senior in the Interior Design Program.
Scholarship to a student majoring in Interior Design, Math or Music with financial need. Preference shall be given to students from Smith County.
The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a student majoring in Construction Engineering Technology. Preference will be given to a female student with campus involvement.
