Moffitt Health Care Center, located in Scott Hall on the Hattiesburg Campus, provides quality, cost-effective comprehensive health care to students and the university community. Vaccinations and coronavirus testing available.

Gulf Park students can visit the Gulf Park Health Center at on the Gulf Park campus.

Dial 2-1-1 for information on local services. 2-1-1 is free, confidential and available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.  2-1-1 is multilingual and staffed by Navigators ready to help you find the connections you need, including medical care, aging and disability resources, dental and vision care, reproductive health and more.


AddictionConcerned About Drug or Alcohol Use?

Addiction is hard to fight alone. If you are concerned about your drug or alcohol use, make an appointment with Student Counseling Services. A counselor can direct you to the resources you need to get and stay healthy.Learn more about counseling at Southern Miss

The Payne Center offers free fitness classes for students including yoga, spin, hip hop, Zumba and more! Also, for a fee, they offer outdoor adventures, swim lessons, and personal trainers.

Tracking your sleep and adding small steps to your nighttime routine can support improved sleep. A variety of apps can help you track and implement tips and tricks to improve your sleep.
