What is a transcript?
An official transcript is the reproduction of a complete, unabridged permanent academic record validated with the University seal, facsimile signature of the registrar, and date of issue. A key to the transcript is included, which contains a full statement of pertinent definitions.
Transcripts are not released when there is a financial hold on student's or former student's account.
Please be advised: A one-time 14-day grace period is given to resolve holds preventing the processing of a transcript. After 14-days, transcript requests with unresolved holds will be canceled and the request must be resubmitted once the hold is resolved.
Cost
Transcript: $10.00 per transcript, plus additional Parchment credential fee based on delivery method selected. Total fees are reflected in Parchment at the completion of the order. Delivery methods include: Electronic, paper pick-up orders, mailed by USPS, USPS International, FedEx Overnight Domestic, FedEx International Priority. Charges are payable by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.
Requesting a Transcript
- Currently Active Students: Request a transcript through your account by navigating to: Student Dashboard > Academics > Order Official Transcript
- Former or Inactive Students: Request a transcript online:
Southern Miss Alumni Graduate Applicants
- Southern Miss alumni applying to Graduate School at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ DO NOT need to request a transcript online at .
- Contact the Graduate School for transcript processing. Graduate students proceeding through Transcripts Plus will be charged and the fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.
